USCIS has started releasing the H-1B visa lottery results for FY 2026. This year, changes include a beneficiary-centric selection process to prevent duplicate registrations and a higher registration fee of $215.For Selected Registrants: If selected, your employer must file the H-1B petition within the 90-day window starting April 1, 2025. This includes a certified Labor Condition Application (LCA), preparing and maintaining a public access file, proof the job qualifies as a specialty occupation, and documentation of your qualifications. Missing the deadline could result in losing your H-1B opportunity for this fiscal year.For Those Not Selected: If you weren’t selected, USCIS may hold additional lotteries if needed to fill the H-1B cap. Alternative options, such as O-1 or L-1 visas, may also be available.
